some peoples sense of reality are totally fucking distorted i can't even undertsand how they think. or maybe i can. idk. the american way of life. american culture is so fucking materialistic, superficial, and gets drenched in ideas of consumerism. it's fucking you up wether you see it or not. people think that they arent part of this but if you really think about it. & remove only what it required for life. the simple things  people are so consumed with consuming. too busy with their "lives" t

Modern American culture. Whats wrong with it?
Ignorance about concepts like cause & effect. action & reaction. dualism & oneness.
false sense of what happiness is.
To be "successful" is the ultimate goal of a lot of people. but if you rid your life of the things i listed earlier the word success kind of seems disappear as well. most of us can agree that the listed words really arent that important. so why would success be any different?
monetary prospect
lack of .
there's so much shit wrong with everything and everyone including myself. & i can either stress about it or not give a fuck. but as much as i want to just fuck it all. It's hard to ignore.
I see it everywhere & whats even worse is that most people who read this might not think that they themselves are being influenced by these things but you are.
everything is hidden behind a mask of false happiness. The american dream has become more of a nightmare that we just cant seem to wake up from.
we are addicted to this culture physically(through the shit product america sells to you which they call "food")and mentally(through everything else or whatever).
first comes the addiction. then the negative effects. then denial. people get stuck in this denial phase and go about their day in the same cycle of

School sucks right now. I have a lot of things to do and I'm just falling behind. I'm really lazy when it come s to reading and writing essay. :(
I read a couple of pages from Telling Tongues today and It was really interesting. I'll probably read more tomorrow after I fail my American heritage exam and contemplate on getting a drop form for it.
And I also think that I have trouble writing because I always want what I say to be right and I don't want someone to think "This guys an idiot" lol whatever, maybe I shouldn't think so much about it and just write whatever comes to mind. Yea. That's it. I over-think things.

today, or technically yesterday, was panoramic cap&gown picture day at 9:30am. so i decided that i wouldnt go in until then. i woke up like at 8 or something bc it was raining a lot. and also my phone kept vibrating. my mom told me to call the school to check if we were still gonna take the picture but i checked my twitter first and i saw that everyone was going crazy about some code brown. which is im guessing extreme weather or something. so yea, it was cancelled. there was a tornado warning. i stayed home. ate some bacon&egg & watched the news. like @ 9:30 madgat came for me and we got dropped off at aj's graduation. when we got there he was already finished recieveing the diploma or whatever. lol & he had been kicked off the stage bc he was running around all crazy. lol
after that i went to class. then to gov. then lunch. then i forgot to get my exemption form. then home. then i fixed up the whole area around the palm tree & the rubber fig in the back, with the help of my mother. it looks nice.
magda also picked me up to go get hot cheetos with cheese. and to fill up the water containers. we saw ray at HEB. & i didnt eat dinner. goodnight.(:
